Three is Better Than Two!!
Swimrun teams usually consist of two people but with busy lives, injuries, and calendar clashes we thought that having three folk in a team would allow us to race more
Introducing the Team:
Three Bruder’s from different Mutter’s: an Englishman (Alan), a Norwegian (Knut) and an Anglo/German/Chilean hybrid (Max).
Alan Scott
The old campaigner. Alan is the senior member of the team in age and experience and has been doing triathlons for over a decade; cutting his swimrun teeth in 2014 placing 6th in the Otillo World Champs in Sweden. Since then Alan has gone on to race and win multiple races with his former Swimrun bruder Hamish Cropper. Alan also has posted a Sub 9hr Ironman and has raced at the Ironman World Champs in Kona.
Results: 6th Ötillö: World Champs 2014, 5th Ötillö: Uto 2015, Breca Buttermere winner 2015, 16 & 17, 2nd Otillo: 1000 Lakes 2016.
Knut Baadshaug
The powerhouse. Knut made his first Swimrun appearance at Breca Buttermere in 2015 racing with the notorious Markus Rössel and has continuously increased his paddle size ever since. Knut’s record include numerous top results in races across Europe, a win at Breca Buttermere with Alan in 2017 and 3x racing the Ötillö World Champs. His love for Swimrun is only exceeded by his hostility towards drafting triathletes.

Max Wolke
The new one. Max is a recovering triathlete who got a taste for Swimrun at Breca Buttermere Sprint, and has been unable to kick the habit since. He has represented GB at two ITU Age Group World Championship finals, placing 22nd in Mexico (2016) and 16th in Rotterdam (2017)
